LOCAL PRESIDENT JOHN OLIVE SELECTED TO SERVE ON NATIONAL CONSTITUTION COMMITTEE
Local President John Olive has been selected along with 18 other local officers from around the country to serve on the Constitution Committee. This committee will be reviewing resolutions submitted by APWU state and local unions to amend the APWU Constitution and Bylaws.
This is an important committee for our union as the Constitution and By laws contains the rules by which our union operates. It delineates officers, their salaries, election procedures, etc.

LOCAL PRESIDENT JOHN OLIVE ELECTED TO POSITION OF DIRECTOR OF EDUCATION FOR THE APWU OF FLORIDA
(May 18, 2008) At the APWU of Florida Convention held in Melbourne, Florida May 8th, 9th and 10th, 2008, local President John Olive was elected as the state organization’s Director of Education. In this important position, John will be responsible for the educational programs of the state, conducting and coordinating all schools and training seminars for which all Florida locals’ officers, stewards and members in the state depend.
